A new app has been launched to integrate the existing mobile apps to provide online services to the Kerala Police. On June 10, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan launched the POL-App, which combines various police services.


More than 27 services of Kerala Police are available to the public through this app. The new app is designed to be easy for the general public to use.


The app knows your nearest police station, police chiefs' phone number and email address.


Fees for police services can be paid to the treasury through this app. The FIR report can be downloaded through the app.


The status of passport verification is known through the poll app. Registration of Janamaithri service for senior citizens can be done through the app.

The app can also be used to report the matter to the nearest police station in case the house is locked.


Apple will provide instructions on how to prevent cyber fraud. Paul App also has the facility to send crime information and pictures directly to the police.


There was a post on the official Facebook page of the Kerala Police requesting to name the new app. The police chose 'POL APP' from the name 'Pollap' which got the most likes.


Srikanth, a native of Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, was nominated for the award and received a cash award from ADGP Manoj Abraham, Kerala Police.
