WhatsApp updated their privacy policy and gave the deadline to take a decision for users whether to continue or to leave. It considered as a major confusion in whatsapp users to take a decision on this matter. Most of the users are below average digital literacy and doesn't consider the privacy of their data and already accept the privacy policy and new terms and conditions put forward by the WhatsApp.
Actually most of the mobile applications and websites are collecting some of the data we are sharing and using for their business purposes. Cookies are the simplest form of the data collecting in websites. We have seen some popup message to grant the permission to collect the cookies. They are collecting the cookies to analyze the most searched words or most typed words by us when we are in that website. Then they will use it to show the most suitable advertisements we needed.

In the case of WhatsApp, they are collecting the data to analyze the business account chats and other groups to create a description about the tastes and preferences of us. WhatsApp will share this data to their parent company , Facebook & Instagram to show the most suitable advertisements for us.

So , in conclusion, the privacy policy declaration is not a big problem. Almost all apps we are using now are collecting the same.
